The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced that Jay Leach will serve as interim head coach starting with Saturday night&#8217;s game against the Albany Devils.Leach takes over head coaching duties from Mike Sullivan, who was named head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier today.Leach is in his first year as a coach in North America after one season with Alder Mannheim (Germany), helping the team to a Deutsche Eishockey Liga championship.Leach will be joined on the bench by Pittsburgh Penguins player development coach, Mark Recchi, for Saturday night&#8217;s game.Sullivan is the third head coach in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton history to be promoted to head coach in Pittsburgh.
