Nescopeck man who beat and bloodied victim outside Hazleton gas station pleads guilty to assault charges

WILKES-BARRE &#8212; The city has extended the yard waste collection due to the warm weather. The Public Works department will collect acceptable yard waste and leaves for all collection zones through next Monday.Yard waste and leaves placed curbside in proper containers or bags will be picked up during the regular collection schedule. Residents are advised to remove any leaves from catch basins near their homes to prevent winter flooding and water pooling.Anyone with questions should contact the Public Works department at (570) 208-4240.
