Areas of minor, heavy traffic could slow the morning commute

<p>The chance for rain will linger in the Wyoming Valley through most of the latter part of the week.</p><p>O0 Friday and into Friday night, the area could also see some snow.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 42 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies will stick around today, with a high near 50.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight, along with a 40 percent chance of showers. The low will be around 41.</p><p>Thursday will bring an 80 percent chance of rain, with up to a half an inch of rainfall possible. The high will be near 51.</p><p>A 60 percent chance of rain is predicted for Thursday night, with mostly cloudy skies expected otherwise.
