Winter chill sets in for first week of 2016

<p>Polish American Congress of Northeastern Pennsylvania held its annual traditional Polish Christmas dinner, Christmas Wigilia, in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center of King&#8217;s College in Wilkes-Barre. A short program followed along campus with the traditional Polish Kolendy and American Christmas carols. Invocation was given by the Rev. Eric Schimmel, King&#8217;s College, who also conducted the Advent wreath ceremony along with the blessing of Opatki. At the dinner, from left are John Jablowski, Jr., guest speaker; Carol Matiko, secretary; Felicia Perlik, vice president; Bernard Dymond, president; Bernadine Regis, registration; Rev. Schimmel and Patricia Sulkowski, treasurer.</p><style>
