<p>The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation lowered the speed limit to 45 miles-per-hour on Interstates 80, 81, 84 and 380 in Luzerne and Lackawanna counties Saturday.</p><p>Winter Storm Jonas is blanketing Luzerne and Lackawanna counties making roads slippery. PennDOT crews have been out trying to keep roads passable since early Saturday morning.</p><p>PennDOT has issued a speed limit reduction for area interstates to help keep motorist safe.</p><p>Motorists are advised to stay off the roads, but can check conditions on &#8220;more than 40,000 miles, including a color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles of road, by visiting www.511PA.com,&#8221; according to a written news release.</p><p>The 511 website is compatible with Android and iPhone devices.</p><style>
