GETTYSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say an 84-year-old man had a heart attack while plowing snow during the weekend storm and his death is being classified as storm related. The Adams County coroner says Col. Wayne Burt, Sr., a career officer in the Marines, was clearing his Gettysburg property on Sunday when he had a heart attack. According to Burt's obituary, he served in the Marines for 30 years and "enjoyed working outdoors, beautifying his property." Burt's death brings the total number of storm-related deaths in Pennsylvania to 10. Over 50 people have died as a result of the mammoth snowstorm that pounded the Eastern U.S. last weekend. The deaths resulted from car accidents, carbon monoxide poisoning and heart attacks while shoveling snow.
