PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh's SWAT team has found a vacant home empty after someone inside shot a construction worker. The worker was shot in the hand as he and two others went to work in the home about 9:30 a.m. Monday. The house is in the city's Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood, a blighted area with many vacant homes that are sometimes used by squatters and drug users. The SWAT team surrounded then stormed the home, but didn't find anyone inside. Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler says police have narrowed down the shooting suspect to two or three people, but they've yet to confirm his identity. The wounded worker has been taken to UPMC Mercy hospital in stable condition. His name hasn't been released. Police have been continuing to search for the shooting suspect.
