<p><strong>The Golden Age of King Midas:</strong> The Penn Museum is hosting a nine month exhibit on King Midas, ruler of an ancient kingdom in Turkey. An excavation led by the museum in 1957 unearthed the tomb thought to belong to Midas&#8217; father, Gordios. The tomb also contained 120 objects, which will be displayed in the exhibit. The exhibit includes a simulation of being inside the tomb when it was first sealed and videos of the excavation. Tickets to the museum are $15, with an extra $5 charge for the Midas exhibit. For more information, and to buy tickets, visit www.penn.museum.</p><p><strong>Headed to the White House:</strong> In honor of the presidential election, the National Constitution Center designed a new exhibit that explores everything about American presidential elections. Learn about historic elections and how elections have changed (or stayed the same) since the founding of our country. Launch your own presidential campaign in a hands-on simulation including creating your own campaign commercial. With Philly hosting the National Democratic Convention in July and the election in November, it&#8217;s the perfect time to visit the National Constitution Center. The exhibit runs Feb. 12 to Nov. 8. From Feb. 12 to March 31, enjoy discount tickets ($13 for adults, $8 for children 4-12). Starting in April, ticket prices increase to $17.50 for adults and $11 for children. From Feb. 21-27, three course lunches and dinners are offered for $15, $25 and $35 depending on the meal and restaurant. Participating restaurants include Le Virtu, Bing Bing and Fond. Running through May 9, the exhibition showcases 50 pieces of Picasso&#8217;s art which explores his changing style during The Great War.
