<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Charges are pending against a man who was operating a vehicle that struck a light pole on East Northampton Street Sunday around 2:06 a.m.</p><p>According to police, an officer responded to the report of a vehicle that crashed into a light pole and found Timothy Sons, 31 of Wilkes-Barre. Police said Sons appeared to be intoxicated and was taken for BAC (blood alcohol content) testing. Charges are pending.</p><style>
