SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) — A northeastern Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to 17 to 34 years in prison in an arson that killed his father. Forty-eight-year-old Kevin Brown pleaded guilty but mentally ill to third-degree murder and arson a year ago in Lackawanna County in the November 2013 death of 78-year-old James Brown in Scranton.
