Man gets 17 to 34 years in arson that killed elderly father

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A woman has pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and conspiracy in a shooting death near Philadelphia almost a year ago that authorities said stemmed from a dispute over money. The (Pottstown) Mercury (http://bit.ly/1PNNgpD ) reports that 23-year-old Mariah Walton of Pottstown entered the plea Thursday in Montgomery County Court. Walton testified that she saw her co-defendant, 38-year-old Richard Collins of Philadelphia, approach and shoot 38-year-old Artie Bradley on March 20 on a Pottstown street and then fire four more times after the victim had collapsed to the ground. Authorities have alleged that Collins and Bradley had "a falling out of money" in the months before the slaying.
