Wyoming Valley could see some snow into the weekend

<p>HAZLETON &#8212; The Hazleton Police Narcotics Unit arrested Jonathan Marte, 19, of South Laurel Street after a traffic stop at 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday.</p><p>The traffic stop was conducted in the area of Chapel and Poplar streets. Police said that a 17-year-old boy was a passenger in Marte&#8217;s vehicle.</p><p>During the investigation, police smelled a strong smell of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Officers asked if there was any marijuana inside, and the juvenile allegedly pulled out two small baggies concealed in his pants.</p><p>Police said that a search of the vehicle uncovered a medium-sized baggie that contained 26 smaller baggies and 5 sandwich bags containing, all of which allegedly contained marijuana for distribution.</p><p>Police said Marte was also found to be in possession of $2,024 in cash, along with multiple cell phones.</p><p>Both Marte and the juvenile were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.</p><p>Police said the investigation is ongoing.</p><style>
