Wyoming Valley could see some rain heading into the weekend

<p>PLYMOUTH &#8212; Police announced the arrests of two men and the seizure of heroin after a drug investigation stemming from December that came to a conclusion on Tuesday.</p><p>At 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Kingston narcotics detectives working as members of the Office of the Attorney General&#8217;s Luzerne County Drug Task Force arrested Kevin Soljack, 54, and Eugene Walker Jr., 38, on numerous outstanding warrants at 51 East Hillside Avenue in Plymouth. Police said the warrants stem from several controlled purchases of crack cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine stemming from an investigation that began in December.</p><p>Police from Plymouth assisted in with the arrests.</p><p>Police said that during the arrest on Tuesday, officers saw several people inside the residence on Hillside Avenue, as well as drug paraphernalia in plain sight. Police allege that a male attempted to flee the scene, but Soljack, Walker and two other men were taken into custody. The two other men were not identified by police.</p><p>Police also seized over 300 packs of heroin from inside the residence, along with crack cocaine.</p><p>Court documents indicate that Soljack and Walker each face numerous drug charges stemming from the investigation that began in December, as well as from their arrest on Tuesday. Some of their charges include criminal use of a communication facility, possession, criminal conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver.</p><p>Both men were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Paul Roberts this morning, and are scheduled for preliminary hearings before Roberts on March 23.</p><style>
