Local, state average gas prices climb back over $2 per gallon

<p>Cloudy skies and rain will be the trend in the Wyoming Valley as the week progresses.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 42 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.</p><p>Cloudy skies are expected today, along with some isolated showers after 1 p.m. The high will be near 56.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 45.</p><p>Showers are expected after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, but less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected. The high will be near 61.</p><p>Showers will continue to be likely into Wednesday night, with less than a tenth of an inch of rain expected. Partly cloudy skies are expected otherwise, and the low will be around 41.</p><p>Partly sunny skies will return on Thursday, but scattered showers will also be possible after 8 a.m. The high will be near 56.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Thursday night, along with a chance of showers.
