Police: One injured in overnight shooting

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Two people were arrested after police say they exhibited signs heroin use during a traffic stop.</p><p>Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Coal Street Friday night but said the driver didn&#8217;t immediately pull over and instead continued driving. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Anthony McKelvey of Wilkes-Barre, pulled the vehicle over a short time later, police said.</p><p>McKelvey and a passenger, 30-year-old Eddie Spencer of Altoona, were suspected to be under the influence of heroin.</p><p>Police charged both with tampering with evidence and possession of paraphernalia. McKelvey was charged with driving under the influence and fleeing.</p><p>The pair were transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility to face arraignment on the charges.</p><style>
