LA PLUME &#8212; The Misericordia University softball team extended its win streak to 10 games with a doubleheader sweep of Keystone 5-3 and 19-4 on Tuesday.Whitney Ellenberg hit a homer in each game and McKenzie Yurko added three hits in the nightcap.Melanie Quintanilla had five hits on the day, including the 100th of her career, and Cailey Ware had two hits in each game.Wilkes splits at LycomingAfter falling 6-2 in game one, visiting Wilkes used the hot bat of Haley Welker to secure a 3-2 victory in the nightcap.Welker had her second career homer on a solo shot in second inning. Nicole Cumbo connected on a two-run single in the fourth. Bethany Shaud then came on in relief of starter Cumbo to retire the Lycoming bats in the sixth and seventh to preserve the win and record her first collegiate save.COLLEGE BASEBALLWilkes 13, PSU Schuylkill 4Ryan Herbst (2 for 4, two RBI), Joe Champi (2 for 4, two RBI), Brady Wing (2 for 4, RBI), Alex Kramer (2 for 4, RBI) and Dan Eicher (2 for 2, RBI) led the Colonels at the plate.Misericordia 8, Ramapo 5Misericordia handed third-ranked Ramapo its first loss of the season.D.J.
