Forty Fort man cited for public drunkenness outside of Boscov’s

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police said drug-related charges will be filed against a woman following an encounter on Academy Street Tuesday around 7:31 p.m.</p><p>According to the police report, arrested was India Pranzoni-Friday, 20, of Sheldon Street, Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>Police said an officer saw the woman in the area of South Franklin and Academy streets. The officer recognized the woman from prior arrests/investigations, and the area she was in was an area identified by the City of Wilkes-Barre as a &#8220;hot spot&#8221; for prostitution.</p><p>Police said Pranzoni is known to have drug paraphernalia on her. The officer asked Pranzoni if she had any drugs or paraphernalia, she said she did not have any drugs.</p><p>The officer asked if she had paraphernalia, and the suspect responded, &#8220;I have a stem&#8221;. Police said a &#8220;stem&#8221; is street reference for a crack pipe.</p><p>Police said Pranzoni voluntarily went into her purse and removed the &#8220;stem&#8221; (glass crack pipe with burnt residue and copper padding inside) and two hypodermic needles.</p><p>Charges will be filed.</p><style>
