City police to file drug-related charges against woman

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police Wednesday cited a Forty Fort man for public drunkenness outside the South Franklin Street entrance of Boscov&#8217;s.</p><p>Arrested was Brian Tonart, 24, of Milton Terrace, Forty Fort. The incident occurred around 5:52 p.m. Wednesday.</p><p>According to the police report, an officer was detailed to Boscov&#8217;s for a report of an intoxicated male who was removed from the store. The male was reported to be sitting in front of the South Franklin St. entrance, not moving.</p><p>Upon arrival, officers located the male and identified him as Tonart. Police said Tonart smelled heavily of alcohol and was not able to stand and was severely slurring his speech. When making eye contact with Tonart, police said he exhibited signs of vertical nystagmus, indicating an extremely high amount of alcohol in his system. Medics were requested for treatment.</p><p>Tonart was cited and released on scene to Trans-med ambulance and was transported to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for treatment.</p><style>
