HARRISBURG &#8212; State Rep. Tarah Toohil, R-Butler Township, has been selected to serve in a leadership position for the nation&#8217;s oldest, non-partisan organization addressing the needs of elected women at all levels of government.Toohil was recently appointed to serve as the 2016 Pennsylvania state director for the National Foundation for Women Legislators.&#8220;I am extremely honored and tremendously excited to be named as NFWL&#8217;s state director for Pennsylvania,&#8221; said Toohil. &#8220;The foundation became a resource for me a mere two years ago and I am determined to assist other women in opening doors and creating opportunities for one another. The ability to share legislative agendas and experiences across party lines and state lines has increased our ability to create better outcomes for the people we represent. I am looking forward to a productive 2016.&#8221;Delaware Rep. Helene Keeley, NFWL&#8217;s 2016 chair, said Toohil will &#8220;play a key role in aiding women legislators in Pennsylvania, as we grow as an organization.&#8221;Toohil begins serving in her new position immediately and will hold the office through 2016.
