How to avoid spreading invasives this trout season

<p>Trout season by the numbers <em>(season starts on Saturday, April 16 at 8 a.m.)</em>:</p><p><strong>7 inches</strong>: minimum size limit for a trout to be kept.</p><p><strong>5:</strong> number of trout allowed to be kept in a single day from April 16 though Labor Day.</p><p><strong>723:</strong> number of streams stocked statewide</p><p><strong>123:</strong> number of lakes stocked across the state</p><p><strong>3,898,300</strong>: number of trout to be stocked by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and cooperative nurseries.</p><p><strong>8,530:</strong> number of trophy trout to be stocked this season.</p><p><strong>20 inches:</strong> length of some of the trophy trout stocked in the Keystone Select Trout Waters. The Keystone waters will recieve a higher number of trophy trout. Locally, a stretch of the South Branch of Tunkhannock Creek in Lackwanna and Wyoming counties is a designated Keystone stream.</p><p><strong>150:</strong> The number of years the Pennsylvania has been in existence.</p><p><em>In-season trout stocking schedule for Luzerne County:</em></p><p>Big Wapwallopen Creek - April 27, May 11</p><p>Frances Slocum Lake - April 18, April 30</p><p>Francis E.
