<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; An intoxicated man struck a utility pole on Forest Street at about 2 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.</p><p>Police said that Jeffrey Sheetz, 60, attempted to report a false hit and run to police after striking the pole.</p><p>Police allege Sheetz was intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Luzerne County DUI Center.</p><p>Sheetz was charged with a DUI and making false reports to law enforcement.</p><style>
