<p>The Wilkes-Barre Area School District will hold its 17th annual Charity Basketball Tournament and Craft Show at 5:30 p.m., Friday hosted at the Solomon/Plains Educational Complex, 43 Abbott St. All nine schools along with staff from the administration building and Alternative Learning Center from the LIU will play to benefit the W-B Area Educational Improvement Foundation and American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Channel 22/28 All Stars will play the last game against select superstars from the games. The public is encouraged to attend. Advance tickets can be purchased at any district building for $3 for adults, $2 for students. All tickets are $5 at the door. There will be raffle baskets, prizes and appearances by local mascots and dignitaries. For more information contact Brian Fischer, 570-826-7224.
