HERSHEY - Tom Sestito began Wednesday&#8217;s Game 5 with a bang, and he ended it that way as well.Unfortunately for the Penguins, Sestito&#8217;s night concluded with 16 minutes left in the game and they allowed the Hershey Bears to score twice in a 5-3 defeat. The loss gives the Bears a 3-2 series advantage with Game 6 now a do-or-die contest for the Penguins.Sestito, who had traded words with Hershey&#8217;s Liam O&#8217;Brien after Game 4, dropped the gloves with O&#8217;Brien at the opening faceoff and he went on to score the game-tying goal early in the third period. But he received his second misconduct of the night, and a game misconduct as well, for celebrating after the goal.&#8220;It was a great goal he scored, but we need him in the game,&#8221; said head coach Clark Donatelli. &#8220;He&#8217;s got to be a little more disciplined. We needed him down the stretch.&#8221;After the Sestito-O&#8217;Brien fight, the Bears began to build a lead.Hershey&#8217;s Carter Camper scored with a wraparound goal at 5:45, and then the Penguins were whistled for three straight penalties. Hershey had 54 seconds of a two-man advantage during Wilkes-Barre/Scranton&#8217;s parade to the penalty box, and they connected when Jakub Vrana posted down low and put home a shot to give the Bears a 2-0 lead.Donatelli said penalties continue to be an issue for the Penguins.&#8220;We&#8217;ve been talking about it all series. (Hershey) is too good a team to keep putting them on the power play,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I know the emotions are high, but we have to have controlled emotion.&#8221;Hershey connected again in the second period when Tristan Jarry stopped a shot, but the rebound bounced in front and off Tim Erixon and back in the net for a 3-0 lead.The goal marked the end of the night for Jarry, who was pulled for Casey DeSmith. Donatelli said the move was made to jumpstart his team, and it worked.After that, the Penguins started crashing the net and beat Hershey netminder Justin Peters.Tom Kostopoulos got the first tally when he was among a pile of players rushing the crease to push in a loose puck. Five minutes later, Josh Archibald scored when his backhand pass bounced off Hershey defensemen Ryan Stanton and into the net, cutting the Bears lead to 3-2.&#8220;He&#8217;s a great goaltender,&#8221; Archibald said of Peters. &#8220;You need to take away his eyes, get dirty goals, rebound goals and goals that go off their own defensemen. Those are the type you score in the playoffs against good goaltenders like that.&#8221;Sestito&#8217;s biggest moment of the night came when he joined Teddy Blueger for a two-on-one rush and finished with a perfect shot into the top corner to tie it 3-3 early in the third period. After the goal Sestito shushed the Hershey crowd and was given his second misconduct and a game misconduct, bring an early end to an eventful night.Still, the Penguins received another momentum boost when they went on the power play just 16 seconds after Sestito&#8217;s goal.And that&#8217;s when something that has been a sore spot for the Penguins all postseason resurfaced. During the power play, Hershey&#8217;s Zach Sill broke free on a breakaway and beat DeSmith to give the Bears a 4-3 lead. The goal would stand as the game-winner and it marked the fourth shorthanded tally the Penguins have given up in the postseason.&#8220;We&#8217;ve got to manage the puck,&#8221; Donatelli said. &#8220;The power play has won us a lot of hockey games, but tonight it lost it for us. It&#8217;s tough.&#8221;Hershey scored an empty net goal to ice the game, and now the Penguins must win at home on Friday to keep their playoff run alive.&#8220;It&#8217;s do-or-die for us here,&#8221; Archibald said. &#8220;Good thing we&#8217;re going back home and have the home crowd behind us. It&#8217;s going to be a hard fought battle because both teams are going to be coming out hot.&#8221;NOTES- Sestito finished the night with a fight, goal, two misconducts and two game misconducts and a total of 47 penalty minutes.<style>
