PRINGLE &#8212; A woman from Pringle was jailed Wednesday at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility based on an 11-year-old warrant from La Paz County, Arizona.The warrant issued in 2004 charges Meta Loberg, 37, with violating probation on a marijuana conviction, according to online Arizona Superior Court records.Kingst on police discovered the warrant when they performed a background check through National Crime Information Center while investigating a domestic disturbance at her residence on Hurbane Street at about 2 a.m.According to the warrant from Arizona and online court records, authorities in La Paz County on Oct. 16, 2002, charged Loberg with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.Loberg was residing on Golf Club Drive in Palm Springs, California, when she was charged by authorities in Arizona.Arizona court records indicate Loberg pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to probation on Jan. 27, 2003. The warrant was issued on Feb. 17, 2004, on allegations she violated probation, online court records say.Loberg was arraigned by District Judge Donald Whittaker in Nanticoke and jailed at the county correctional facility for lack of $75,000 bail.An extradition hearing will be scheduled in county court.
