Wilkes-Barre residents charged with possession of marijuana after traffic stop

<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; A Hanover Township woman was arrested for shoplifting at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to police.</p><p>Police said Bernadette Perkins, 36, stole about $60 worth of merchandise from the Walmart Super Center.</p><p>Perkins was charged with a felony count of retail theft and criminal trespass and arraigned before District Judge Joseph Carmody.</p><p>She was remanded to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail.</p><p>A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 29.</p><style>
