Distasio and Kowalski earn Super Lawyer status for eight consecutive year

<p>Joshua Winneker, JD, assistant professor of business at Misericordia University, recently had his article, &#8220;Potential Stadium Owner Liability for Outdoor Ice Hockey Games,&#8217;&#8217; published in the University of California Berkeley Journal of Entertainment &amp; Sports Law.</p><p>The Misericordia University professor examined one of the National Hockey League&#8217;s most popular games &#8211; its rotating &#8220;Winter Classic&#8217;&#8217; outdoor games &#8211; and the potential for new liability concerns for owners of the venue.</p><p>In his article, Professor Winneker writes about the history and current status of outdoor hockey games for the amateur and professional ranks, examines general premises liability law, details various legal theories for apportioning liability and discusses the potential liability in outdoor venues.</p><style>
