Few areas of traffic congestion reported in the Wyoming Valley this morning

<p>The Wyoming Valley could see some rain in the beginning of the week, but sunshine is expected to return by Wednesday.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 68 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are expected today, along with a chance of showers. Thunderstorms are also possible after 1 p.m. A 40 percent chance of rain is predicted, and up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible. The high will be near 83.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, along with a 30 percent chance of showers before 10 p.m. The low will be around 67.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are predicted Tuesday, along with a chance of showers. Thunderstorms will also be possible before noon. A 50 percent chance of rain is predicted, but less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected. The high will be near 83.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are expected into Tuesday night, along with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 60.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 79.
