MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (AP) — County officials and a computer vendor are investigating after a 911 computer went down for four minutes while a dispatcher was speaking with officers at the scene were an eastern Pennsylvania officer was wounded. The dispatcher was able to switch to another computer to continue communicating with officers in the field. Twenty-five-year-old Folcroft borough Officer Christopher Dorman was shot in the face Friday but has since been released from the hospital. Zetron, the Redmond, Washington company that supplied the computer has sent a technical representative to check out the computer Thursday. The county is also hiring its own expert to review the glitch. Data from the call and log information has been preserved for the experts to review.
