Inaugural Benefactory Festival in Scranton aids youth music programs

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police responded Wednesday to a section of North Main Street near Currys Donuts after a man allegedly knocked over a lamp post with his truck and fled the secene.</p><p>According to city workers at the scene, the owner of the white, two-door Chevy Blazer fled on foot after the crash to Kidder Street, where he was arrested by city police.</p><p>Police said the driver was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township, but didn&#8217;t specify whether he had any visible injuries. The driver&#8217;s name wasn&#8217;t immediately available Wednesday afternoon.</p><style>
