Minor, heavy traffic congestion reported in the Wyoming Valley this morning

<p>The Wyoming Valley is in store for another hot week, but the area could also get some thunderstorms into tonight.</p><p>According to a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this morning and last through the evening. There is a chance the thunderstorms that develop could become severe.</p><p>No watches or warnings have been issued for Luzerne County.</p><p><strong>The forecast</strong></p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are expected today, and showers and thunderstorms will be likely after 3 p.m. Up to a quarter of an inch of total rainfall is possible, but more could fall in thunderstorms. The high will be near 92.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will gradually become clear tonight, and there will be a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 71.</p><p>Sunny skies will return Tuesday, with a high near 90. Clear skies will follow into Tuesday night, with a low around 63.</p><p>Sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 89.
