Wilkes-Barre man charged with assault Sunday night

Luzerne man cited for public drunkenness

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police arrested a city woman after an assault on Madison Street early Monday morning.</p><p>Police said at approximately 1:37 a.m., a 52-year-old man alleged that Arnetta Jackson, 45, threw a vase at him, causing a laceration. Officers observed the man&#8217;s elbow to be swollen and bloody, according to police.</p><p>Jackson was arrested and lodged at Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><style>
