Derek Cease hit a three-run homer to break a tie in the bottom of the fifth inning and make sure Nanticoke headed home from the Pennsylvania Little League Tournament with one victory, an 11-10 win over Harborcreek at the Rostraver Little League Field.Nanticoke rallied from three- and four-run deficits to win the &#8220;bonus&#8221; game between the two teams that had started 0-2 and were the first two eliminated from the double-elimination tournament.Cease finished 4 for 4 with two homers, six RBI and three runs scored to lead Nanticoke, which had won District 16 and Section 5 titles to reach the state tournament.&#8220;We didn&#8217;t want to go 0-3,&#8221; Nanticoke manager Al Brown said in a phone interview on the way to a Pittsburgh Pirates game before returning home. &#8220;Being able to get that one was big.&#8220;We were able to have a real good fifth inning and took the lead for good.&#8221;Harborcreek scored three in the top of the first before Nanticoke answered with four.A five-run fourth put Harborcreek ahead, 10-6.Nanticoke got one run back in the fourth, then put together a four-run rally with two out in the fifth.Ethan Eganski reached on an error. Nick Mason followed with a single.Caleb Butczynski followed with a game-tying single to center and scored on Cease&#8217;s homer.
