JENKINS TWP. &#8212; A community yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 10, rain or shine, at the Jenkins Township Hose Company, 2 Second St., to benefit the Jenkins Township/Yatesville Crime Watch.Tables will be available for rent at a cost of $10 each. Rental space for trucks, vans and cars is $20. Prior registration is required for space guarantee.Call Jean at 570-654-9710 to make a reservation. Payment will be due two weeks before the event. Seller setup begins at 7 a.m. No early-bird shoppers will be allowed. Spaces are limited, so please call early. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
