JENKINS TWP. &#8212; The 2016 Pittston Area School tax bills have been mailed to property owners on record.Office hours during the discount period, which expires Sept. 22, are 3 to 5 p.m. Mondays and 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays at the Jenkins Township Municipal Building, 46 &#189; Main St., Inkerman, and from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays at 3 Laflin Road, Inkerman.After Sept. 22, office hours are only on Monday evening at 3 Laflin Road.Appointments may be arranged by calling the tax collector at 570-654-9710.Payments may be sent anytime in the mail. Postmark will be accepted as payment date. If a receipt is required, taxpayers should send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with payment.New property owners who have not received a bill or who have received a bill in error are asked to contact the tax collector.
