Police: Hanover township grandparents scammed while attempting to assist grandson

<p>The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders fell to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 7-1, in the series opener at Coca-Cola Park on Monday.</p><p>The RailRiders&#8217; (67-42) season-worst fourth straight road loss coupled with the IronPigs&#8217; (67-42) 15th win in 18 games since the All-Star break created a tie for first in the IL North. The teams also share the best record in Triple-A baseball.</p><p>Cesar Puello gave the visitors a brief lead with a leadoff homer in the second inning.</p><p>But the IronPigs responded with a run-scoring Emmanuel Burriss groundout in the third and a leadoff homer by Darin Ruf in the fourth.</p><p>In the sixth inning, Cedric Hunter boomed a three-run double that chased starter Brady Lail (4-3). An inning later, Nick Williams slammed a two-out, two-run homer to round out the scoring.</p><p>Scheduled starter Adam Morgan (5-1) worked six innings of scoreless relief for the win.</p><style>
