Police cite Wilkes-Barre woman for harassment

Public intoxication charge leads to discovery of illegal immigrant

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police arrested a homeless man after he was found in an abandoned residence on Sullivan Street Wednesday night.</p><p>Police said at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers discovered Melvin Minckler, 52, on the property and highly intoxicated. Minckler hds previously been told to stay off the property and refused to do so, police said.</p><p>Minckler was arrested for criminal trespass and transported to Wilkes-Barre Police Department headquarters.</p><style>
