<p>SCRANTON &#8211; Police have arrested a woman accused of aggravated assault with a firearm in the Poconos.</p><p>The Trenton Police Department investigated a shooting in the 800 block of East State Street in Trenton, New Jersey on June 6.</p><p>According to police, witnesses told officers Tanika Mack, 24, fired multiple shots from a firearm, striking a victim in the leg.</p><p>Detectives subsequently obtained an arrest warrant charging Mack with aggravated assault with a firearm. They obtained information that Mack may have fled to Pennsylvania and requested the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force to locate and apprehend her.</p><p>On Friday morning, deputy marshals and fugitive task force members from the Scranton office located and arrested Mack without incident at a residence in the 5600 block of Pembrook Drive, Tobyhanna. She was turned over to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department to be charged as a fugitive from justice pending her extradition to New Jersey.</p><p>United States Marshal Pane said, &#8220;The U.S. Marshals Service will continue to cooperate between federal, state and local police agencies to ensure violent fugitives who flee across jurisdictional lines are brought to justice.&#8221;</p><style>
