Pulmonologist joins Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton

<p>Gerard A. Champi has been named president and chief executive officer of First National Community Bancorp Inc. and Dunmore-based FNCB Bank. Champi has also been named to the bank&#8217;s board of directors.</p><p>He replaces former president and CEO Steven Tokach, who retired June 30.</p><p>Champi joined FNCB Bank in 1991 and has over 30 years banking experience. Most recently, he served as the bank&#8217;s chief operating officer. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, and Wilkes University, where he received his MBA.</p><p>An active member of the local community, Champi is executive vice president and a board member of Northeastern Pennsylvania Council Boy Scouts of America, Lackawanna Blind Association board member, St. Joseph&#8217;s Center board member; past president of the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, past president of the Luzerne County Community College Foundation Board of Directors, Penn State Worthington Scranton Campus Advisory Board Member and a lifetime member of Penn State Alumni Association.</p><style>
