<p>Julio A. Ramos, M.D., FACR, FACP, has been named designated institutional official (DIO) for The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education.</p><p>Dr. Ramos completed his residency with The Wright Center, then the Scranton-Temple Residency Program, in 2000 and stayed on as faculty for the organization&#8217;s residency programs before pursuing a rheumatology fellowship with Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.</p><p>After completing his training in 2004, Dr. Ramos practiced as a rheumatologist with Professional Orthopedic Associates Ltd. He rejoined The Wright Center in 2007 as the subspecialty chief of rheumatology and has since served as an associate program director for subspecialty services as well as the director of sports Medicine education for our primary care residency programs.</p><p>He is also a member of The Commonwealth Medical College&#8217;s clinical faculty team, the medical director of Marywood University&#8217;s human physiology laboratory, president and CEO of his company, Ramos Rheumatology and, most recently, served as a rheumatologist with Intermountain Medical Group.</p><style>
