BELLE VERNON, Pa. (AP) — Police have been searching for a convenience store robber who shot an employee during the southwestern Pennsylvania heist. Rostraver Township police say the incident occurred Thursday about 4 a.m. at the CoGo's on Route 51. Police declined to detail the shooting, but employees told WPXI-TV that the store's manager was shot in the shoulder. The manager called 911 to report the heist and tried to get to his car, but had to be flown to a Pittsburgh hospital instead. His name and condition were not immediately released. Police have said only that the robber wore a bandanna over his face. Police K-9's are being used to track the man, who remained at large.
