<p>Last month, Lake-Lehman got a little retribution after losing to Wyoming Seminary in last year&#8217;s Wyoming Valley Conference Class 2A golf team playoffs.</p><p>The Black Knights defeated the Blue Knights, handing Sem its first WVC loss in two seasons. Both teams will meet once again on Wednesday at Wilkes-Barre Golf Club to battle for the WVC Class 2A title for the second straight season when the event starts at 9 a.m.</p><p>Also being held at the same time is the 3A team championship between Tunkhannock, Dallas and Crestwood.</p><p>The Black Knights, who are looking for their first WVC Class 2A title, won by 13 strokes in the meeting between the two earlier this season &#8212; handing Sem (10-1) its only loss of the campaign. A few weeks later, Lehman (11-1) was hit with its only setback, falling to MMI by five shots.</p><p>Like Sem, Lehman enters with consecutive Division 4 titles. The Black Knights also won their division in 2013. Wyoming Seminary&#8217;s previous division championship before last year was in 2008.</p><p>In Class 3A, Dallas and Crestwood, co-champions of Division 2 with 9-1 marks, will be meeting for the fourth time this season. The squads split their two meetings this season with the total strokes in both matches being decided by just three.</p><p>The first time the Mountaineers and Comets saw each other in 2016 came in the Tryba Preseason Tournament when Dallas claimed the team championship of that 18-hole event by beating second-place Crestwood by five shots.</p><p>The Comets have been the most consistent golf program in the WVC over the last several seasons, winning a division title in eight of the last nine years. The Mountaineers have finished near the top of the division standings every season since 2011 while winning in 2011 and 2013.</p><p>Tunkhannock (6-4), coming off its first division title since winning consecutive East division titles in 2008 and 2009, lost when it went against Dallas or Crestwood this season. The Tigers, looking for their first WVC championship since 2007, also lost to Coughlin and Hazleton Area, but both of those matches were each decided by just one stroke.</p><style>
