Boy, 6, dies days after South Carolina elementary school shooting

<p>JOHNSTOWN, Pa. &#8212; A man has been charged with criminal homicide and assault in the shooting death of a roommate who had climbed into their western Pennsylvania home through a window after forgetting his key.</p><p>Authorities in Cambria County said police were called to the Johnstown home and found 28-year-old Thomas Gibson with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was taken by ambulance to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where he died early Saturday.</p><p>Authorities allege in a criminal complaint that Gibson had been out drinking and didn&#8217;t have his key, so he got in through a window, but an argument ensured with 44-year-old Lonnie Minerd and the two traded punches before Minerd got a gun and fired.</p><p>Court documents don&#8217;t list an attorney; a listed number for Minerd couldn&#8217;t be found Sunday.</p><style>
