Man in Johnstown charged in shooting death of roommate after fight

<p>Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Murray Jr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 10, 2016. They were married Sept. 10, 1966 in St. Ann&#8217;s Monastery by the Rev Giles Aherns, C.P.</p><p>They were attended by Mrs. Robert Donovan, sister of the bride; Mrs. Frank Yanni, Karen Shelvin, Robert Murray, brother of the bridegroom; Harold Godowski, Gerald Weber, Joseph Whalen and Joseph Hodakowski.</p><p>Mrs. Murray was employed by Professional Orthopedics Associates. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Murray was eastern regional sales manager for Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corp. He was also a co-founder of Specialty Defense Systems and served as chairman of the board of directors.</p><p>The couple has three children, Dr. Joseph F. III, New York City: Dr. Stephen G., Scotch Plains, New Jersey and Jennifer Murray Aebli, Covington Township. They also have several grandchildren, Jordan, Jillian and Jake Aebli and Matthew, Kayla, Jack and Emma Murray.</p><p>They marked the occasion with a dinner with family and friends.</p><style>
