Michael Evans named medical director at Lehigh Valley Physician Group-Hazleton

<p>Raghava Reddy Levaka Veera, M.D., has joined the Henry Cancer Center at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV) in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology.</p><p>Dr. Levaka earned his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in India in 2006. He most recently completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center/ Temple University in Philadelphia.</p><p>Dr. Levaka&#8217;s specialty areas include gastrointestinal and lung cancers.</p><p>Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Levaka is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Society of Oncology and Hematology.</p><p>He is fluent in English, Hindi and Telugu.</p><style>
