Letter to the Editor: Viable candidates in short supply this election season

<p>It is expected to be a rainy day in the Wyoming Valley, but it is expected to clear up for the first part of the week.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 58 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.</p><p>Showers are likely after 1 p.m., and today&#8217;s high will be around 59 degrees.</p><p>Rain will continue to be likely until 9 p.m. tonight, and the low will be around 38.</p><p>Skies are expected to clear up Monday for a mostly sunny day with the high near 53. Mostly clear skies will follow into Monday night, and the low around 36.</p><p>Clear skies will continue Tuesday, with a high near 58.
