Letter to the Editor: Correct heavy-handed regulation on e-vapor products by passing Cole-Bishop Amendment

<p>State Rep. Gerald Mullery of Newport Township kept his promises.</p><p>He promised to fight to eliminate our school property taxes and has been one of the most ardent supporters of House Bill 76. He promised to restore funding to our schools and broke away from party politics to help end the budget impasse, bringing much needed funding to our districts. He promised to help keep our communities safe and has the full support of our local Fraternal Order of Police and police chiefs.</p><p>Gerald promised to stand up to potential polluters and recently was named an &#8220;Environmental Champion&#8221; for his work in Harrisburg. He promised to stand against infringement upon our constitutional rights and has been a true advocate for sportsmen and women, receiving the NRA&#8217;s endorsement.</p><p>He is a leader in Harrisburg, not a follower. He doesn&#8217;t look to party leaders when casting his votes; he looks to his constituents. As a father of four, he cares deeply about Northeastern Pennsylvania and wants the best for his family and ours.</p><p>Gerald works every day for us.
