<p>Snow and rain are expected this weekend and throughout the week in the Wyoming Valley.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 23 degrees as of 8:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and sunny skies were reported.</p><p>Clouds will move in this afternoon, with a chance of snow after 3 p.m. High near 33. Total daytime accumulation of less than an inch possible.</p><p>The chance for snow continues into the night, before 7 p.m. Cloudy skies will clear up slightly, with a low around 24. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.</p><p>Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 34.</p><p>Clouds will move in Sunday night, with a low around 19.</p><p>Monday will be mostly sunny again for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, with a high near 38.</p><p>There is a chance of freezing rain and sleet Monday night into early Tuesday morning, with a low around 29.</p><p>Tuesday will be cloudy with a chance of rain after 8 a.m. and a high near 41.</p><p>Rain will continue Tuesday night, mainly after 8 p.m., with a low around 37.</p><p>More rain will fall Wednesday morning, mainly before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers throughout the day.
