Courtney Margaret Sinclair and J.J. Rasimas announce their engagement

<p>Erma Jean Fuller will celebrate her 90th birthday Feb. 2, 2017.</p><p>Born in Nanticoke in 1927, Jean is the daughter of the late Erma and Charles Elmy. She was a graduate of Nanticoke High School, class of 1944, and Bradford Beauty Academy, Wilkes Barre. Upon graduation from beauty school, Jean immediately began working in Viola&#8217;s Beauty Salon, Nanticoke, and worked there for 10 years.</p><p>Jean and her best friend, Lois, enjoyed movies at the Rex Theater, followed by soda and ice cream at Fuller&#8217;s Restaurant and it was there she met her husband, Paul F. Fuller, Sr.</p><p>Jean and Paul married July 21, 1948 in the Nanticoke Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.</p><p>Jean and Paul eventually built their home in Nuangola and lived on Nuangola Road for 60 years. Jean worked in her home beauty shop in Nuangola until her retirement at the age of 88.</p><p>Jean&#8217;s beloved husband passed away May 6, 2015, after celebrating 66 years of marriage. Jean and Paul have four children: Paul Fuller Jr., Nuangola; Peggy Long, Plains; Gale Armstrong, Texas and Susan Ketcham, Florida. They enjoyed 11 grandchildren and five great-granddaughters. Jean will be welcoming her first great-grandson in February and another great-granddaughter in April.</p><p>Friends and family are invited to an open house 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in the Highland Park Senior Living Center, 874 Schechter Dr., Wilkes-Barre Township.</p><style>
