<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; STOMP, the international percussion sensation, brings its award winning show that uses household and industrial items as instruments to the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.</p><p>The venue will host the group for two days, with performances at 7:30 p.m. March 15 and 16.</p><p>Tickets, ranging in price from $35 to $55, are on sale now and are available online at kirbycenter.org, at the Kirby Box Office and charge by phone at 570-826-1100.</p><p>According to a news release from the Kirby Center, STOMP got its start as a street performance in England and has grown into an international sensation over 20 years.</p><p>&#8220;Synchronized stiff-bristle brooms become a sweeping orchestra, eight Zippo lighters flip open and closed to create a fiery fugue; wooden poles thump and clack in a rhythmic explosion. STOMP uses everything but conventional percussion instruments - dustbins, tea chests, radiator hoses, boots, hub caps,&#8221; according to the new release.</p><style>
