<p>MIAMI &#8212; Soon, senior citizens really will be able to spend their final years wasting away in Margaritaville, nibblin&#8217; on sponge cake and searching for lost shakers of salt.</p><p>And it&#8217;s Jimmy Buffett&#8217;s fault.</p><p>Margaritaville Holdings, the singer&#8217;s company named after his iconic tune, plans on opening an &#8220;active adult community&#8221; in Daytona Beach, Fla.</p><p>Spaces at Latitude Margaritaville, starting in the low-$200,000 range, will go on sale this fall, the company said in announcing the project.</p><p>The senior community logically follows Margaritaville resorts and hotels and restaurants. After all, fans of Buffett, known as Parrotheads, have been skewing older for a while now.</p><p>The partnership with developer Minto Communities, being a Margaritaville venture, is expected to include not only standard South Florida amenities but also a band shell, a private beachfront club, and restaurants, including one with &#8220;Margaritaville food and beverage concepts.&#8221;</p><style>
